More Info on Voting:

Early voting is already underway across the State of Minnesota.  In Anoka County, you have the option of early-voting in one of two places:

  • Anoka County Government Center, 2100 3rd Ave, Anoka
  • Your City Hall (some cities in the county may designate an alternate spot)

If you are a Coon Rapids resident, you may go to the Coon Rapids City Hall, and enter the door by the Senior Center.

When you arrive for early voting, you will be required to fill out a short ballot application form in order to receive your ballot.  Once filled in, you will place your ballot in the counting machine, same as you would on election day.

Voting Hours should be similar or the same across all locations, as follows:

  • Monday 10/28             8:00am – 430pm
  • Tuesday 10/29             8:00am – 7:00pm
  • Wednesday 10/30        8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Thursday 10/31           8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Friday 11/1                  8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Saturday 11/2              9:00am – 3:00pm
  • Sunday 11/3                9:00am – 3:00pm        (but don’t miss church)
  • Monday 11/4               8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Tuesday 11/5   (Election Day)
    • Voting will be at your designated precinct voting location.
    • Polls are open 7:00am – 8:00pm

If you are in line when the polls close (on any day) you will still be allowed to vote.

Election Day is expected to be busy, so be sure to try and vote early to avoid the longest lines.
